Rigo,

Your sarcasm is probably accepted and viewed as intelligence in Mexico, but here we are all much too tired of paying for all of your illegal friends and family to care or try to understand your ramblings. See, we AMERICANS have to work very diligently so that we can continue to pay our taxes for things like medical care, education, welfare, etc. that our IDIOTIC, INEPT, LOSER government provides to your ILLEGAL people!

ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!

Your government has the audacity to tell my government to allow your people into my country when they themselves do NOT allow anyone into Mexico that is undocumented. I don't need ILLEGAL MEXICANS coming here and DEMANDING a free life when we AMERICANS have to work and pay our taxes for them to have it all at no expense.

ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!

So, while shooting people that are coming here ILLEGALLY may seem harsh, just talk to the people that try to enter your country from their respective borders. They may agree that being shot is better than the treatment YOUR government bestows upon those trespassers!

I am all for LEGALLY documented workers from any country, including your own, but once again, ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!

Every culture and country has good and bad people. To generalize about people of a country is wrong. I have no problem with Mexicans and I know there are many wonderful ones. My problem is with illegal aliens. I have had three family members in 3 different states hurt in accidents caused by illegals, who had no business being behind the wheel. One of my family members had surgery on his back and his back is still not fixed. This will affect him for the rest of his life. Illegal immigration has hurt America and Americans on many different levels. I am proud that so many Americans are standing united on this issue. If we do not give up and do not give in, we can turn this around. This boycott is just one of the ways WE ARE SAYING NO!!!!

Elise,
Last thing I mean is to sound rude and I apologize if I do, but, what all of the nobel prize winners and great inventions stuff have to do with my messages?
I mean, we can talk whenever you want about people who has really done for the humanity and I will congratulate you (if thatīs what you need) for every American that has won the nobel prize. I just donīt think your comment has a lot to do with my last one!!
You guys see? when I read phrases like "Most Mexicans are Bad" and you know, based on movies, that really discourages myself in sharing points of view in this chat on one hand and I think you should stop watching hollywood movies eventually, on the other hand.
I wonīt stand for criminals, thieves and outlaws does not matter if they are Mexicans, American, Chinesse or Pakistanies (whatever it is spelled), what I ask you is stop framing all of us in such categories.
Again, all ilegals should come home and I am not justifying in any way ilegal immigration (we have our own with Central america), I just try to tell you that there are millions of Mexicans like me that does not support immigration.
By the way, I work down here, I love my country and I am planning to help to make Mexico a better place to live and I assure you, I donīt blame on Guatemalians nor Belizians nor Hondurians for everything that happen to me as I feel many of you guys feel about ilegal Mexicans.

Kristina, thanks for your warm words, we may disagree but I respect many of your points of view and seem to me very reasonable.
Ok I can see some of your friends and husband has gotten sort of bad experiences in Mexico. Trust me, it all depends in what cities you visit, the places you are at and believe me, the sincerity you approach many Mexicans.
The average Mexican means well (friends, forget for a second the ilegal Mexicans, I am refering the Mexicans who lives in Mexico, like me)and is very friendly. You go everywhere in the world and most French, Italians, Portuguese, even Germans and English, or Japaneses, Chineses all many countries in latin America treat the Mexican very well because in the average he is a sincere person and seldomly approach people in their land with high-handedness.
Yes we have a lot of problems, I donīt deny that and yes we are not first world like USA, but I can assure you, in Mexico there are a thousand and thousand of "first world persons" and in USA (as we can see with many stupid and brainless messages in this chat) there are millions of "third world persons".

One thing is protecting your borders and claim to stop ilegal Mexican immigrations, another think is belittle my country saying things (not you Kristina) like "they are all bads and criminals and come from a filthy culture".

Have a good night friends

I'm sorry but when I think of Great things (Nobel prize winners, Great inventions that changed the world for the better, quality products built to last 100 years, Scientific research papers in mathematics, chemistry, physics or a solution to world Peace.)
Mexico is not the first country to come to mind.
However when I look around Los Angeles and see how much it has changed from the 1970's Mexico comes very much to mind(Rent a disk of Dragnet or Adam-12 to compare it to the Hispanicised cesspool that it is today)

The old steriotype seen in movies of the villian being Mexican I ams starting to realize is no more than a simple truth.

Rigo,

First I would like to thank you for your support in the fight to stop Illegal Immigration. I would like to kindly correct you in something you stated earlier. The absolut ad was created by a Marketing Firm in Mexico City by the name of Teran/TBWA. It was then approved by the Absolut company and printed in magazines and billboards in Mexico. There are many Marketing Firms around the world that Absolut works with.
I agree with you that if Americans are to travel the world they should learn the native tongue of what ever country they are in. It is only respectful to do that.
I have never personally been to Mexico, but I have friends that have and my husband has. They all say they don't want to go back because of how scared they were of being pulled over by the police and the looks they got from locals. That is just their words, not mine. I do know some people that go to Mexico to help build houses for the less fortunate. And from what I understand, there are many of them.
I very much enjoy your comments and hope to keep hearing from you and keep helping us with the fight to stop Illegal Immigration.
You have a wonderful day.

Luke, I donīt think the whole world hates USA. At least I am not one of the haters!!

But, if you still think that way, I believe some of you should start practicing some of the following:

1. when you go to another non-English country, at least pretend you try to speak the native language, donīt go out to the street and catch peopleīs attention in English as if it was a given "they should speak English".
2. Stop thinking USA is the holy savior and the most generous country in the world and the XXI century version of Mother Teresa.
3. Stop talking of countries you have never been in (like many of you saying trash about Mexico, its culture and its people without having an idea what you are talking about).
4. Travel around the world and get to know other cultures. The world does not starts in California and ends in NYC, I can assure you that.
5. Dontībe to unreasonably passionate as to "declare a war to Mexico or have an anti-Mexico feelings" for a simple ad that was made by a SWEDEN COMPANY, and consequently 100-plus millions of Mexicans HAD NOTHING TO DO IN CREATING SUCH AD.

Disclaimer: Luckily, I know there is a lot of inteligent and brilliant American persons that I like to discuss with because they have shapen their reasoning reading and traveling, not like most, watching CNN in their couch!!!

Have a good day

You lot are pathetic, Absolut have one of the best marketing campaigns of the last 25 years! All companys adjust their advertisments to suit different countries, I am sure they are not the only company to advertise their product on the fact everyone hates the US!

If Canada came and took over parts of the US would you not be pissed? You would feel like you still own that area.

You need to look at the history of Absolut

I find it quite laughable how you are more concerned with a marketing campaign in Mexico, than Americas world policies

It's disgusting and infuriating that (I can't think of a disgusting enough name to accurately describe you) such as you carry out filth such as this lying advertisment about the United States.

Curse you for the liars and back stabbing cowards that you are.

Looks Like Absolut has lost a lot of business in the United States with their piss poor advertising tactics.

I would like to see the reaction if an American company ran an ad showing the map of Sweden redrawn giving it to a radical islamic country and observe their reaction.

Here in California we only 'belonged' to mexico for 27 years. Almost no one left when the borders were redrawn since the US recognized the old spanish land grants. The illegal immigrants demanding tax funded tribute (Heathcare, housing, foodstamps, education, etc while reserving for themselves the right to work untaxed) from the citizens all while 'demanding' more and more.

Rigo, I cannot agree more that Mexico needs to help with jobs for their own citizens. Our own government needs to stop using illegals for cheap labor in favor of American Citizens as well. I am completely frustrated with the way our government has been conviently overlooking the mass flow of illegals from our southern border! Trust me the majority of people want what is fair for all involved. Fair would be to follow our laws already in place to stop illegal immigration once and for all and to secure the border. One thing that I can tell you Rigo about illegals in this country is that they know how to work the system! I know first hand of what they do because my mother used to teach English as a second language and they would tell her how easy it is to get welfare and how they would tell friends and family how to work the system too! One lady brought her mother over from Mexico and immediately started collecting Social Security...without EVER working here one day in her life! Common you must be fair on this subject. We Americans are in our country and we all want a fair playing field. It is not too much to ask. If they want welfare, I have no problem with that. Just do it on your own dime!

As a bar manager of a restaurant, it is a pleasure to say that we have removed all Absolut products from our shelfs and no longer serve Absolut Vodka. When our guests ask why we no longer carry it, we gladly inform them of the campaign ad where Mexico takes over the Western United States, and most guests are outraged and are spreading the word.

Alexandra and Kristina, thanks for responding. You both seem to be smart ladies and I agree in general terms on what you say.

Alexandra, I admire you coming from Mexican descent and still sticking with your values to defend what you think is right. Trust me, I am like you against ilegal immigration, Iīm just saying that both governments need to work to address that problem. Mexican gov., should find ways to improve the level of living, to promote jobs, to increase the economy activity within our territory so that people stay downhere.

On the pther hand, US gov, should not play a doble face here, it is well known that ilegal immigration is in some cases permitted to benefit some activities in south states. I donīt buy all of that stuff that they do "all tehir best efforts to keep ilegals away form USA", that is not true, again, in some way ilegal immigration is permitted or overlooked.
I agree with you in that I canīt stand an ilegal claiming for his "rights". .what rights?? you are there ilegally, you should not be there in the first place. Itīs like a thief that enters into a house and still claims a dinner and a shower!!!.
In what I disagree with you is that I see that you frame all the Mexicans over there as a criminals, murderers, and to me thatīs pretty unfair. Not everyone is like that. As far as I remember, the guys of Columbine in 99 werenīt Mexicans, the guys who put the bombs at Oklahoma, werenīt Mexicans, the guy of Virginia Tech masacre wasnīt Mexican...point is,,DONīT FRAME ALL THE MEXICANS IN THE SAME LEVEL...you seem to mean that we are the ones who causes all problems in USA, that is just not true.

Kristina, your case is very useful and I understand your concern, even though we are all human beings and deserve to be cared, it is not fai that ilegals get more advantage in medical care than regular USA citizens. Trust me, I share your point of view, but again, you need to require your own government to amend those practices.

Your are pretty much the first I read acknowledging that your government should brought all those ilegal immigrantīs employers into justice. Youa are the first to recognice that your own conationals have something of fault to share.

Thanks to both, you donīt seem to be the typical American that is so dumb that frame all of us the Mexican as if we all were equal. There is a lot of smart people over here that DOES NOT STAND ILEGAL IMMIGRATION!!
